Ever since Castillo and the corales fight Floyd has only fought guys that's coming off loses or looked bad right before he fought them pretty much.

Hate it or love it but that's a fact.

I'm not a manny fan I'm a Lucas Matthysse fan and I think people tell manny who to fight next and Floyd tells Haymon who he's fighting next big difference.

Don't say your the best at all these weights if you don't wanna fight the best period.

It's not a great fight but at the end of the day Guerrero won a title at 147lbs so I he does deserve a shot in that sense.

At 147lbs the only other decent opposition is Bradley and his promotor seems intent on screwing him over and wouldn't work with Mayweather anyway.

Even at 154lbs Canelo is considered quite green despite being talented and big.

Trout is very decent opposition and I'd love to see the match up unfortunately fans aren't exactly supporting him but still I'd love to see that fight .

This is complete fail. Only Pacquiao fans think Floyd cherry picks? How about the entire boxing world and 90% of fans of boxing.

Pacquiao cherry picked his career? That's funny, so who did he avoid when he fought those 'carefully timed cherry picks' like Cotto, Hatton, Hoya, and Margarito? Was he avoiding young hungry lions like Berto and Ortiz? :smoke

:patsch So internet gossip means Pacquiao used steroids? This is just dumb and your dumb.

I would say IMO, that he only fights men who are his size or smaller. I've seen just about all his fights and the last guy who had a considerable size advantage against him was Victoriano Sosa. That may or may not have anything to do with the shoulder roll not being ass effective vs tall rangy guys. It certainly isnt cause of a lack of good 5'10'+ welters over the last decade.

Floyds cherry picking is obvious and anyone can see through it. Just look at all his opponents since DLH and every single time you could have named a better, tougher opponent then who he actually fought.

You should be banned for this statement. I do think Floyd picks easier fights and I'm not a fan of his, but what u said describes Pac's choices not Floyd's. Floyd fights for $ and fighting someone coming off a loss or that looked bad would not make financial sense.

That's a HUGE Lie. Zab Judah & Corley (in a razor thin decision against Zab) are the ONLY opponents Mayweather faced that was coming off a loss out of about 14 opponents.

Gatti - Hadn't lost since his close fight with Micky Ward, stopped his last opponent in 5.
Mitchell - Had just stopped his last opponent in 5 rounds.
Baldomir - Had just upset Judah and Gatti and hadn't lost in 7 yrs.
De La Hoya - Had just beat Mayorga in 6 rounds.
Hatton - was freaking undefeated, and had K.O'd Castillo in 4 rounds by a body shot
Marquez - had just stopped Diaz and Casamayor back to back.
Shane - Had just destroyed Margarito
Ortiz - Had just upset Berto and taken his 0
Cotto - Had just avenged his defeat to Margarito.

Mayweather isn't above criticism but clearly you are talking rubbish.

The last fighter he fought that was coming off a lose was Judah. Mosley had just knocked out Margarito, Ortiz after beating Berto, Marquez, Hatton undefeated and Cotto had won a title at 154 lbs and a few defences.

I am truly amazed at the level of stupidity displayed in this thread. Not every statement, but some of these statements are real candidates for the dummies hall of fame.
