He would still knocked Pacquiao out in the later rounds. Pac was not in his usual condition in this fight cause he abandoned Alex's strength and conditioning and Marquez really roided out for this fight as evident by his physique and punching power. All this talk about this "lucky punch" is bull****. Marquez practiced that punch the whole training camp and with the combination of Pac's lack of condition and JMM's PEDS he will get KO'ed eventually.

Lost my tolerance for bull**** people spew...

Alex Ariza has nothing to do with nothing. Pacquiao looked like a beast... Not having done his S&C has nothing to do with the fact he got KO'd brutally by a perfectly landed, placed and timed right hand.

If Marquez hadn't knocked Pacquiao out in the 6th then anything could have happened.

Pac was so overconfident that he thought he could just do the EPO and no plyometrics would be good enough for him. JMM did the EPO and the plyometrics and look at the end result. Plankiao became on internet meme and is burned in the minds of fans forever. JMM took the fight more seriously and emerged as Champion of the Decade.

Pac was looking the better than he had for a couple years before the knockout.

Yeah, it was only a matter of time. Pacquiao is having stamina issues and to me he looked to be gassed in the 6th.

JMM's power was good in this fight because Manny was easier to hit. Why he was easier to hit who knows.

Its easy to say he would have KO'd him later, but that KO shot was a once in a lifetime type of shot. Those don't just come around every minute . Plus Pacquiao tripped and fell onto the punch - aside from running into it - so there was a lot going om there to cause that KO. JMM actually looked like the one who was on his way to getting stopped.

    :huh

So which one is it, *******? Did Pacquiao "trip and fall" into Marquez' right hand or did he "run" into it? Take you time to get your lies straight...

Manny was holding his hands lower then he did a couple of years ago and he wasn't as fast as he's been in the past. His overall punch acuracy was a little off as well. Yes he looked good but boxing is a game of inches and at the highest level it is the little things the that make the differences between winning and losing. I don't know if he would have gotten knocked out later on but I do know that he was having to walking a finer line then he has normally had to walk.

That much is evident by the two knock downs.
