He never won a bronze at the olympics. He got beaten in the quarters in 1984 by Tyrell Biggs. But yeah, the guy had a great career. Amateur success, a win over everyone he ever fought, undisputed champ and got out on top.

Plus let's not forget that Oscar is still a huge presence in the sport by being part of arguably the number 1 or 2 promotion in the entire sport. If Carl Froch comes back and beats Kessler, beats Bute again and then somehow gets a victory against Ward that would be something special. Could go out on that feeling like he'd done it all!
Unfortunately Oscar had too many losses when facing elite compitition. Bit **** considering he definately defeated Tito and probably should have a victory over Mosley. I think if he had faced off with Mayweather earlier he would have picked up a W.
Yeah, but we all know that not going to happen. He can beat Bute again He may even grind out a win against Kessler. Ward beats him every time though.
