I reckon it'll perhaps be about the same. You have to bear in mind Ward's victories over Froch and Dawson ( even though it looked like he didn't seem too comfortable at 168 ). That said, regardless of how much better/worse his resume may actually be, I don't think he'll ever be able to beat Ward. He'll remain Ward's biggest possible challenge for as long as he's around but the guy's just on a different level...
It wont change anything in relation to Ward. Not for Froch nor Kessler if Kessler wins. They need to beat Ward for that.... and that is virtually impossible in the US. and Ward is scared of flying.
Surely being the first man to beat Pascal, Dirrell and Bute is worth more than Ward beating Froch and Dawson at 168? Add to that Froch was the first man to properly beat Abraham plus Taylor which is a better win than Bika it would he clear Froch has a better resume.
Nearly and nearly... they just wanted the final to seem close, but there was never any doubt Ward would get the win. Ward won the fight 11-1 imo., but it doesn't matter.. he won and got the win.
The problem is that Ward beat better fighters in Kessler and Froch.. and if Froch beats Kessler, then Ward's resume just looks even stronger because he beat Froch... If Kessler beats Froch, then Ward's resume looks even stronger because he beat Kessler... Whoever wins.... Ward's resume wins.
Frochs resume would be better, but he would still have that loss to Ward regardless. Though I think fired up at home Froch would stop Ward
