Which of these guys had the best shot of beating May when he was in his prime from 135-147. I've only added guys that could realistically have fought him during those years.

    1)Kosta
    2)Vernon Forrest
    3)Paul Will
3)Bricked up Margarito that snatched Cotto's soul
    4)Cotto following Mosley win
    5)2007-2009 Pacquiao

    None of those.

The only ones who could have REALISTICALLY beaten May were Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko

No one from 140-160 could touch Money May!

#5 without a doubt. All of those had a shot.

Margarito would hardly land a single punch on Mayweather, he'd get completely shut out

Pacquiao had the greatness, Williams and Forrest the physical dimensions, probably only Forrest had the style and physical dimensions to have me possibly slightly favour him on his best day, though I can't say he was necessarily a great fighter or would that I'd bet money on it. But, as a welterweight, I'd say he tops the list, with Pac in second. It's not hard to see any good fighter pull some kind of upset on their best day and the opponent's worst, but I don't give any of the others much more than a fluke of a chance. I'd give VF, maybe, a 51-49 type shot with PBF, slightly favouring, and peak welterweight Pac, who I think physically and stylistically matches up much better with Money than JMM did, a 60-40 or 70/30 type chance, as the underdog.

I always liked Vernon Forest.....I think he would have given Floyd a hard time.

Vernon Forest and Paul Will. Though Paul Will would be more of a toss-up.

VForest would be a favorite versus Floyd imo

Manny/Cotto/Margs/Kosta do not possess the necessary elements to defeat prime Floyd
