i saw the fight live, and quillin was getting outboxed through huge lengths of the fight, had it not been for the last 2 knockdowns. N'jikam would have gotten the win on neutral scorecards. whats everyone else's thoughts on this. i could see a more likely scenario where quillin stops njikam in the middle of the fight in the rematch.

If they can teach him to glue his right hand to the side of his face, similar to how Ike Ibeabuchi did, when he fought David Tua, to block left hooks, N'Jkam would have easily outboxed Quillen. That N'Jkam wasn't prepared to deal with left hooks, shows the lack of quality trainer, which in turn, hinders the development and careers, of damn near all of these African boxers that move to European countries, or Australia.

I don't see it, Quillins stamina has always been bad but look how many knockdowns he was gettin, N'dam was outboxin him especially towards the end but I see Quillin knockin him down loads again or stoppin him in a rematch, N'dams chin is bad

Yeah I think he could. The fight was still pretty close even with those 6 knockdowns.

No I think Quillin would beat him in a rematch. But it would be fun to watch.
HNN maybe has better footwork and skills but Quillin got the power to hurt him at any stage. I think in this case, power is more effective than skill. In this particular case im talking about not all cases.

if N'dam just sticks to his boxing and looks to do it on points while not opening up too much to get countered, then yes, he can win the rematch.

but can he be that disciplined? i'm not sure he can. we saw in the last two rounds of the first fight that he hadn't learned from the previous four knockdowns by opening up too much and getting caught again.

so if he doesn't have the discipline to stay tight and stick to his boxing, he'll lose the rematch as well.

i did have the fight to Quillin by only 1 point, so he does deserve the chance to duke it out for a second time.

He could potentially win the rematch on the cards of objective fans, but not those of Golden Boy's judges.

I think he'd have an excellent chance.

It's probably about equal a chance he avenges the loss as he gets knocked out.

Yup he can win a rematch if he sharpens his defence. Still i'd love to see Chocolate vs BJS
