    Their careers completely unfolded differently. Trout is the best at 154, but Vanes is nowhere to be found. Trout has what it takes to clearly beat Canelo.

    you have to take that with a grain of salt because sometimes kayoes in the amateurs are complete BS.

    True. Taking a good good shot can get you an 8 count. Sometimes they stop it after two 8 counts.

    Too bad he hasn't beaten any one up in the Pro's, and the first top 10 fighter he fought couldn't miss that big parrot nose of his down the stretch. Lara toys with this guy in a rematch.

    Vanes is under-rated right now.

    He has a rep as a fantastic gym fighter, but he needs to show that under the lights.

    draw with lara isn't that bad. lara is a very athletic boxer, no easy to get a win over him.

    Meh aside from the flash knockdown in the first I thought Trout was in more control during the match tbh.

    Trout's a pain in the ass and has okay defense with some decent boxing IQ. He'll be a pain in the ass for anyone at 154 because of southpaw / size / boxing ability (not the best but good)
