Good on him. Knows his stuff aswell, great commentator and pundit. Doesn't show bias in either role.

He showed real class their, could you imagine Hopkins ever being as honest as that after his losses to Calzaghe and Taylor?

I can understand if it was a blatant robbery but even commentators thought Woodhall won so obviously a close fight. IMO he should have kept those thoughts to himself, his trainers and promoters have to do their job too. He probably thought he lost a wide decision on the night as he had higher expectations for himself.

On another note, Glen Catley was suppose to coach our boxing team but he pulled out, first time I've actually seen him though in that vid.

    :good

Class and Hopkins in the same sentence? lol

The general consensus at the time was that Catley had been robbed.

To be fair to Woodhall Catley was a late sub for the Italian Vincenzo Nardiello (who was a southpaw) and all Woodhall's preparation had been geared towards fighting a southpaw.

Class. Didn't SRL admit Tommy really won the rematch which ended up being a draw? Think he said in his opinion they were 1-1. Tied basically.

Yeah I'm sure he did. That said, I've got a sneaking suspicion that it might have taken him quite a while to do so, months or even possibly years later (although I may be wrong about that as I haven't seen that fight in a long time).

I certainly can't think of another instance where a fighter has admitted they didn't deserve the decision during their post-fight interview though.

James Toney admitted Dave Tiberi beat him too, although it took him all of 17 years to do so. lol
