How does it go down? Hatton was pretty bad shape when he fought probably the best ever version of Pacquiao (sandwiched between stoppages of Odlh and cotto) I believe Pacquiao was using heavily during that period but that'sby tthe bye How does Prime Hatton do against current Pacquiao who looks nothinglike the beast of 09
the same way it happened last time. Pacquiao was looking good in his last fight in my opinion untill he got colded by a cracking shot now and although he is not at his best hatton was and will never be on his level. Before people slag me off i really like hatton but thats the way i see it
You think Pacquio does him in 2 rounds? I dunno, A) Hatton had better punch resistance in his prime and 2) Pacquiao seems to have lost power considerably over the last few years I think this one goes late, lean towards pacquiao, but not sure 100%
he got a lopsided decision against bradley and wasnt looking shot at all up until the 1punch knock out by marquez that marquez punch would of floored a roided up pitbull in relation the question, i still see pac at 140pds as just being too slick and fast handed for hatton. His southpaw in and out style gave ricky absolute nightmares and he was catching hatton at will
Manny easily. Hatton couldn't fight southpaws at all.... he couldn't lead with his right particularly well and his left to the body would be nullified in part by the southpaw stance. Squared up awfully too and was wide open to the right hook from the first bell to the last. Even at his absolute best, he'd struggle against domestic/European level lefties. Might beat most of them, but struggle all the same.
Pacquiao easily. He may have slipped but he easily beat Bradley and was doing well against the legendary Marquez until he got knocked out. Still an elite fighter, still too good for any version of Hatton.
Pac would box him to an easy UD, and dependant on how Ricky's face is holding up, probably stop him late. Getting knocked down and out against his kryptonite, doesn't mean Ricky -- who always struggles with southpaws -- would do much better. The current version of Pac was still looking great (bar the knockdowns). Probably the best he's ever looked against JMM.
pac,but it may last a bit longer. hatton was world class in his prime no doubt at all, good world class, but pac is just a step ahead
Ok not inside 2 rounds but i would be a bit surprised if Htton was still in there after 6. Mayweather had Hatton out within 10 and i think pacquiao style of fighting gets him out of there alot earlier
Pac would stop him at about around the 8th He didn't even look bad in the Marquez fight just got over aggressive and sloppy
