Are you happy with Guerrero in May and Canelo in September for Money May?

With Pacquiao's devastating knockout loss to Marquez in December and with Manny likely looking to take a tune-up fight before rematching Marquez, it would seem as though the Mayweather-Pacquiao super fight will almost certainly not be happening in 2013.

With that said, it looks highly likely that Floyd will be fighting the very deserving Robert Guerrero in May and co-headlining a PPV with Canelo Alvarez against Austin Trout, with the vision of building up to a big PPV showdown between Mayweather and Canelo on Mexican Independence Day weekend in September.

My question to you is, are you happy with these fights? And is this the best way for Mayweather to end his career by passing the PPV-drawing torch to Canelo for the future of the sport?

In a nutshell. Yes, absolutely. Guerrero isn't a great fight but the Canelo fight will be very interesting given Mayweather's declining age. A Mayweather loss will happen if he sticks around much longer.

For the good of the sport, I believe Canelo needs to beat Mayweather. Not only would it hurt the 'future' of the sport by losing to a past-his-prime Mayweather, but imagine what a win would do to Canelo's star power. Being the only man to ever had Mayweather a loss would propel him to a level never imagined before. And with the strength of the welterweight, junior middleweight, and middleweight divisions at the moment, we could be set up for some big-drawing PPVs in the future.

I could live with a Guerrero match he is a multiple division champ and earned the shot.......Canelo on the other hand has faced no one, basically the whole top 5 of that division has been calling him out for years and he's busy fighting LWW and WW, Canelo needs to string along a few solid wins to earn that shot, although GB try to delete his gift and shaky moments off the net, thats what I see when I see Canelo, a one dimensional plodder, who has yet to face a live body, and has yet to prove me wrong

He already beat Ortiz, and Bradley, Pacquaio are with top rank so thats a no go, Guerrero is his only legit fight at WW

People just want to see Floyd fighting big fighters, in a division he shouldn't be fighting at, I now see any fight below 154, he'll get harshly criticized for, making a case for Canelo, Trout is more willing of the shot than him:lol:

RG is not a legitimate fight at 147. its simply a cherry pick.

its as legit as the "interim" title RG owns
