Ive looked all over for the video of Sconiers dropping Wilder and have never found it, GBP must be trying to cover it up. I seen 5,11 Clemente Russo land at will against 6,7 Wilder all night in the 2008 olympic semi-finals, Wilder looked very slow and couldnt land anything, he was wide open.

That's a smokecreen. The REAL reason has been shown by several people in this thread - through video and photographic evidence going back to Wilder''s amateur career.

Wilder has a glass jaw, and his handlers know it. This is why he fights NOTHING but stiffs, some of whom have even managed to crack his shaky whiskers!!

How much more evidence do people need that Wilder is packing some Grade Triple A China in his mandible???:patsch

I cannot wait til this FRAUD gets laid out cold the moment he faces a live body!

Please don't be so patronizing Cableaddict. Wilder might well be the most skilled heavy in years but he cannot begin to show that until he fights much, much better opponents. Skill doesn't exist in a vacuum. Wilder's competition has been so poor that of course he's going to look good against them. This is a very easy point to grasp.

To date the most skilled fighter Wilder has fought amateur or pro has been Clemente Russo, who, despite being a much smaller man, absolutely toyed with Wilder and beat him wide. You can say that was however many years ago or that the amateurs don't count or whatever, but what has Wilder done since then that leads you to think that he's made any significant progress in the pro game? His competition has simply not allowed us to get a gauge on how he's developed.

With that kind of in depth response  I can see how you've attained 37 THOUSAND plus posts.

Truly an example of post count and quality having ZERO correlation, in your case an INVERSE correlation :yep

Tell us, one of the gazillion posts, when was the HW div. better? When it was ruled by "others" :-(

I'm keeping an eye on Wilder. He has the potential to do great things.

Although it's a bit frustrating watching him fight average fighters for a long time no thanks to Russ Anber. He does not want to rush him to big fights.

I just hope Wilder faces someone tough this year.

Its just taking him ages to step up his competition. He obviously has huge power, but has he got the skills? The chin? The heart? Time will only tell, but for now I don't consider him the best american HW prospect, I think Jennings will be pretty decent and probably the one of, if not the best american prospect.

Once Andy Ruiz Jr gets a good nutrionist he'll become the future.
Head movement, defence, power, hand speed, combinations like Ray Leonard, also stamina

Deontay only got that overhand right, Ruiz Jr unleashes 8 punch combinations.
I really hope Wilder fights the Mexican, then we can see how much his glass is getting shattered.

Deontay is a good fighter, the problem lies in opposition in relation to his record which to the casual observer looks good.

Fights with Tye Fields, M. Grant, S. Lykovich, H. Rahman would be good for 2013-
