Asked him on FB last night if any news on venue, date and opponent and he said he was back in training and fighting at end of February, no opponent or venue is known yet.
Close to 2 months notice then Marky, surely Frank can find a good opponent for Burns, hopefully a contender in the division, I won't hold my breath though.
It'll probably be against another Joe Bloggs from Timbuktu fighter. I honestly hope I'm wrong and FW does get Ricky a decent opponent but I'm hopeful that Megan Fox will accept my marriage proposal. It's unfortunately not likely to happen.
Same here mate, the thing thats so frustrating is that he wants the big fights but doesnt seem like the type to put his foot down and demand them from Fish eyes, until he does that then fish eyes will just milk him fighting opponents not on his level. I honestly believe he would beat Broner, whether he would get the decision would be another matter, either way its win-win for Burns with a good showing that he would no doubt give.
