Szpilka-Zimnoch brawling at press conference

I can understand people not liking him but anyone who thinks he isn't skilled is a dumbass. Also humerous that the same people who like guys like Haye and Chisora for similar reasons dislike Szpilka, at least Szpilka is genuine and not just a mouthpiece like Chisora who acts tough then reacted like a 12 year old girl when Haye blasted him in the face. "He hit me!, he hit me!" crying like a ***** after getting dropped and hurt.

 

To be honest, I'm not overly disgusted by things like this. I mean, they shouldn't be doing it and it sets a bad example, but at least it's a fight with another professional fighter who can defend themselves and not an ordinary Joe. Saying that, I don't know much about either guy but from what people are saying in this thread Szpilka is a nasty bully and I have no time at all for people like that.

As cynical as it may be, I imagine it'll get raise their profile and get a few more viewers to their fights.

 

yup, couldn't agree more. Those who condemned chisora, should cofemn szpilka, and vice versa.

 

Straight out of the jungle with this sort of behavior. Both boys should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. It's not just boxing they're letting down but also their families as well as themselves. What does Spizka's dear old Ma'am and Pop think of this lunacy? I feel bad for them. It was bad enough when young Arthur had to go away to prison but now this? It must be heartbreaking for his poor old Mom.

 

Yep. The more of Szpilka I see the more I dislike him.

Of course he is a dres straight from the book, he is a typical Polish hooligan, but he is a tough ****er and he is genuine.

I disagree, you're description of him as a punk is not accurate. You may not like him or Hooligans but they aren't cowards who beat up defenseless people or only get into fights when they have a number advantage.

I don't mind Szpilka because at least he's genuine and means what he says, its guys like Kevin Johnson, Chisora, or Floyd who talk just to hear their own hollow meaningless bull**** that are clearly punks i dislike.

That fight is 3 weeks after Szpilka Mollo and yes Zimnoch KOed him in the Amateurs but Szpilka was 17 years old at the time and Zimnoch was 23.

 

I agree that he is genuine, and says what he means, and isn't afraid to say it.

I also agree, that there is a HUGE difference between guys like Szpilka and the guys you mentioned above.

What I disagree about is the first paragraph. If these dumb ****s DID keep it amongst, and to themselves, I would have no problem with it, or even care. The problem is, that these hooligans, or whatever you want to call them, don't keep it amongst themselves. And the type of attitude and behavior Szpilka demonstrates, fits the profile of a typical hooligan. Which for me raises flags, since I see on a daily basis how these types behave and interact with society.
