New UK boxing podcast by fans, for the fans.

    There's a new podcast on the scene that's been started by UKwingchunstudent where he's joined by fellow fans. This podcast is made by fans, for fans. Simple as that. Wingy (as I call him) decided that there were many podcasts about boxing produced in America but a shockingly low amount by fans here in England. Therefore, he's decided to make one of his own where everything boxing is discussed from mega-fights to domestic bouts.

    I personally took part in this podcast I'm very proud to tell you, Wingy was kind enough to invite me on to take part in the very first episode. Please give the podcast a listen and let us know what you think. Again I'll stress this point, this podcast is produced by just ordinary boxing fans and is aimed towards our fellow boxing fans who love the sport like we do.

    Loads of topics are discussed including; Carl Froch, his IBF Adonis Stevenson issues and how he would fare in Ward, Bute and Kessler rematches. We discuss Eddie Hearn and Sky Sports' Adam Smith and their effect on the sport.

    We recap George Groves vs Glen Johnson fight, focusing on GrovesÂ’ progress. Same with Amir Khan and Carlos Molina. Then we discuss realistically, with honest open and heavy hearts how well Gavin Rees is going to do in his February 16th shot at Adrien Broner. Also we break down the Kell Brook vs Devon Alexander 23rd of Febuary IBF Welterweight title fight!

    Plus loads loads more including Floyd Mayweathers chances against Robert Guerrero and Saul Canelo Alvarez!

    Trying to find a gap in the market. And then all over it like a rash.

    Wannabeewingchunstudent.

    With the amount of videos he puts out, I really dont think a podcast is necessary.

    can't find it on itunes, and that link on the link you gave doesnt work for me. like a good podcast - i listen to ThaBoxingVoice, On The Grind, LIITR etc from America, and the boxing asylum lads - The Nuthouse is a decent one which has a big UK focus to it.

    Would be interested in hearing it, if it was more accessible. How long does it last mate?

    Listened to it. It really didn't need all the waffling on at the beginning, also the host needs to grow a pair and have an opinion, and stop saying 'i was gonna say the same thing' and 'you stole the words from my mouth'. He appears to have seen fights but maybe he could have boxrec or something open as he struggles to remember obvious things like the opponents names and what round they got KOd.

    I will defo give this a listen. Good on you all for giving this a go. Its not going to be the polished article after the first attempt, but its gonna get better. Keep it up fellas. You might even get popular enough to get a few fighters on in the future.

    Thank you mate. You're absolutely right, the very first time it's not going to be faultless and amazing. We're all blokes who's never done this before and were all a bit nervous. I think we did okay though.

    Next time we'll have better equipment and be more relaxed. Thanks for supporting. :good

    You need to get this on itunes. Its simply to do and your listeners will grow 10x imediatley.

    Was enjoyable and will listen again. My only real critique is that Wingy swears to much. Im not offended on anything but when its in every other sentence it shows a lack of intelligence and if you want to be taken seriously you should look to cut it out.
