thats actually what i don't get. Lately its been top rank thats been copromoting, not golden boy. Especially since they got showtime intheir back pocket.

    Who cares?

One of them hasn't accomplished **** and his fans are worse than Bute and Khan lovers. And he's not willing to skip an interim fight in February to get the match he whines about all year in March. It's not like he was asked to sit around until August.

The other is the dirtiest fighter in the sport by a mile with a particular interest in the groin region of his opponents. And is with a promoter which makes it virtually impossible.

I hope Donaire moves up to 126 for meaningful fights, forget about these two clowns.

It's a well known FACT that Donaire is scared shitless of Rigondeaux , he already agreed to the march date , he even said that he would even fight him in China if he wanted too , ¿ have we heard from Donaire ? , about Mares : he's NOT on Rigo's level and he's been alredy defeated by him in the past . This pinoys boxing fans are as cowardly as their boxers .:deal

That's according to Donaire, who is not a reliable source at all when it comes to Rigondeaux.

I hope it happens but it seems unlikely. It's a better fight than the Rigo one anyway, who Donaire would blast out quickly.

the ignorance in this thread is mind numbing.

rigo hasn't done much and hasn't run the gauntlet as donaire has. let rigo beat some guys in before the match is made. donaire has every right to want rigo to face up to the competition he has. to rigo's credit, i think he'll beat all of them.

mares and donaire will probalby neve rhappen as long as those two are commited to another promotion.

stop blaming tr or gbp. they have grown to bigger promotional companies and have very little incentive to copromote. face the business reality.

Why is that a requirement for Rigondeaux to get a fight but not for Donaire's non-Nishioka opponents at this weight?

I hope this is true. Mares would be a better and more competitive fight than Rigo. I said it from the start.

bob Arum is cancer to boxing, when he passes and Todd takes over TR, all boxing fans will be much better off.
