Just got an idea from the Deontay Wilder Thread?

    Malik Scott
    Deontay Wilder
    Karim Mayfield
    Seth Mitchell

How do you see him against this generation of American Heavyweights?

    Now or prime?

Good lord he would massacre them all if he was prime. No disrespect to them, but you are talking about a top 5, or at least 10 ATG.

Light welter, but he can obviously become the great P4P fighter ever by dominating all the way to heavyweight.

And I still think Holyfield beats the three heavyweights listed.

You mean against all four of them at once? Probably eeks out a decision against them.

The Holyfield who fought Valuev was already really old and shot but he had a good gameplan. I've never heard of Mayfield, he would have a good chance of beating Mitchell and Wilder. But it would be unlikely that he could win against Scott he most liekly loses a UD it's style wise a bad matchup

we don't know if any of these guys has a chin or if theyre black Tommy Morrisons.
Still though, if Michael Moorer could beat a prime Holyfield, and raw face first puncher like Bowe could, then if Wilder or Mitchell had a chin, theyd mop the floor with Holyfield, even in his prime.

Holyfield lost to garbage men like Moorer and Bowe, but both have decent enough chins. Mitchells has been proven abyssmal(although it could have been a mental lapse) and Wilders is untouched as of yet(at least by a finisher).

Scott is the X factor here. Hard to judge him b/c of his inactivity and lack of quality opposition. We know he aint a puncher, but he can score with his shots and he at least keeps guys off balance.
He would definitely beat the 04 Holyfield who drew with Valuev, but I dont think he's well balanced enough to beat prime Holyfield.:think
