whats a good age for kids to start boxing?

    ****, here where I live, I wouldn't let my kid box. They got kids that are 12 years old fighting 30 year old guys.

    What type of **** is that?

    Ive had world champions spar with 11 year olds, mind there were 2 of them.

    16 for actual fights. Wouldn't even consider an earlier age.

    Under six they won't learn, they're just playing. After that you could learn them how to punch.

    The one in red headgear is 11 years old. He's been sparring for a while, by the looks of it. Notice they don't punch that hard yet, so it's unlikely they'll end up with a concussion.

    I have seen 4 and 5 year olds go at it in my gym
