    The Pole has a big cut on his forehead. Both guys are throwing some wild flurries. Pac is trying to make this a brawl, but the Baku Fires fighter keeps his composure and lands a huge straight left. The referee gives Pac an 8 count.

    Watch Joyce v donovan tonight two Irish lads who have fought at least 4 times in the ams and box for the same club in Ireland. Always have great fights and close. Joyce is with Germany and donovamn is with Kazakhstan .

    Yes. They are the guys on my avatar. Clubmates for the last 15 years or so, they've fought many times in the Irish championships and crazy they were now matched in the WSB. Joyce showed exactly why many of us hope he'll someday soon turn pro. Has a great engine, works the body with power, and has been well schooled. He was involved in one of the greatest Irish amateur contests ever when Carl Frampton beat him in the 2009 Irish senior final, here's the link:

    Perez is jabbing through the guard of Perez. Tight defense and forward motion by Perez, jabbing sharply and utilizing his superior length and reach to force Picard to crouch back. Picardi dives in with a lead left feint cocked at his hip but pulls back at the last second as Perez springs the bar on the mousetrap and flurries down at him.Perez is taking right hooks on his shoulder as they circle in close and bump together. Backhanded right jab by Picardi, slapping into Perez's gloves. Long straight right by Perez. A few jabs exchanged on the outside, Perez's longer and more accurate. Frenzied exchange at the bell as Picardi lurches in, Perez getting jolted a few times.

    10-9 Picardi, very close.
