Well then he should fight him if its so easy, it looks like he is gonna drop the belt to fight Kessler

I get the impression that Froch may be under some pressure to wind up his career and retire. He's not a young boxer anymore, he has a young child with a second on the way, and at this point in his career-indeed, his life-it would be prudent to aim to earn the largest sum in the shortest time and most efficient manner. Kessler, Ward, Bute rematches would all be decent money, and potentially good for his legacy. Ideally (though admittedly not necessarily a given) Froch would be underlining the Bute I win, and avenging his only losses.

Unfortunately for Stevenson he's in a similar position to the one Froch was in just prior to Calzaghe's retirement; chasing a title held by a guy who has bigger fish to fry.

 

Agreed totally with this post,this is what I thought should happen as I see Stevenson as a good,really interesting fight.Then read Clarkycats post,which could explain things a bit.Is Carl looking for just one more?

Considering that you'll completely lose the interest you had for this sport.

What you should understand is that when Stevenson will be champion, you will have the impression of having reached the fourth dimension.

All this to tell you that you'll get the same feeling when Stevenson will dominate Froch.

But let's not be too pessimistic about your inability to withstand shocks, I Strongly believes that you will be able to recover from this disappointment and begin to follow the crowd step by step, like you always did.

Last week, everybody notice the Carl Froch staging, with his over trash talk about the Adonis Stevenson case.
How Froch can publically push the idea of demolishing another opponent, if at the base he did not planified to face him.
One problem that some fans have, is to think that their best athlete has something Special, forgetting they also have basic human weaknesses, like fear...

And with all the talk-to-talk Carl Froch did, he openly proved how nervous, how stressed-out, not to say how panicked he was...

If Mikkel Kessler accepted the desperate proposal of Eddie Hearn, it will be the equivalent of accepting to face Froch and Stevenson within one interval of 3 months, with a purse discount…
Why would Kessler accept after he felt the fear in the tone of Froch voice, enough to understand that Hearn proposal is more like an urgent favor request; it's almost begging...

Can't blame him really... He wanted a rematch with Calzaghe and even called him out publicly asking him to come to Denmark for a rematch... didn't happen.

He also wants a Ward rematch. Goosen said that if Kessler looked impressive against Magee they would do the deal... and then when he KOd Magee Goosen got silent.

It is understandable if Kessler feels he has never gotten any of the rematches h wanted why should he?
