Hi, I've been boxing for almost a year now and starting to become more serious with it hoping to compete in amateurs one day.

Anyways I've been using my old nike barefoot trainers for boxing and training so it's starting to fall apart a lot. And I'm willing to buy a boxing shoes, but I don't have too much money because I'm still a high school student, but my budget is around 70 bucks for a pretty good boxing shoes. I've already researched before posting, but I couldn't really decide on which shoes to get.

Recommend me a boxing shoes around 70 bucks please, and also this will be my first time getting boxing shoes so it would be nice to know what differences they have compared to regular trainers. Thank you!

I don't get what you mean by "don't feel like competing," but I would love to compete, but it's just I'm not ready for real amateurs yet, but I've had 2 exhibitions match with guys from other gyms and did pretty well.

My coach wants me to be fully prepared by doing more exhibitions then I would be more than ready for the amateurs.

But if 70 bucks is too much budget for shoes then I can go for 50 bucks budget for boxing shoes if you could recommend me one please. Thank you.

I'm wondering if any of you ever tried the "adidas vapor speed 2 shoes?"

It's originally 109.99 bucks, but it's on crazy sale right now so it's 39.99 on titleboxing.

If anyone tried these shoes do they fit true to size? Or run little narrow?

For anyone who have used the Adidas Box Hogs or any Adidas boxing shoes in general, do they usually run size smaller or larger?

I wear 10.5 US size and was wondering if I should order size up or down. And my feet aren't too narrow or too wide either.

My adidas sydney boxers are true to size. Check eastbay.com if they have the shoe you are planning to buy. There is info on a shoe how it fits (true to size, narrow, wide)
I got Nike Kobe IV's US 10.5 and Adidas Sydney boxers are similar size.

I've ordered the Adidas box hogs at 10.5 which is usual size I wear for my other shoes. I'm hoping it'll fit me well and I'll probably do review on it after I receive it.

My Nike MP HyperKO shoes came today. I picked half size bigger how titleboxinh.com suggested and they fit me like a glove.

So according to my experiences titleboxing is 100% correct when they say Nike wrestling/boxing shoes run half size smaller than normal.
