What do you guys reckon? it's a big step up for Brook from his previous 29 opponents, how you see the fight going?

I think this is first thread I've seen on this topic. It has been curiously overlooked!

Yes, I believe he will. People just hate Brook on here because they hate Eddie Hearn and he's Eddie's golden goose.

I know it's a big step up for Kell and the first time he's faced a proper world class fighter but I truly believe he'll do the business. Alexander is overrated by most people because he's won a few world titles. He's not in the same league as Mayweather, Pacquaio, Marquez, Bradley or even Guerrero though so I don't get why people Brook has no chance.

You have to remember, Alexander was schooled by Kotelnik (who was out-classed by Khan). He got crushed by Tim Bradley and definitely should have lost to Matthyse as well. Brook's not the complete fighter by any means but I've seen enough to be convinced that he's got enough to beat Alexander.

Would like to see him do it but I think Alexander on points is the most likely thing to happen in this one.

I think he wil, Did a lengthy post responding to someone a few weeks back. States my reasons why but the jist of it was Brook technically can control Alexander with his straight punches and precision. Once he gains regular success i think Alexander will have trouble adapting and getting out of bother.

    No chance.

Kell went life and death with Carson Jones... CARSON JONES. This is too much of a step up for him, I'm afraid.

    Devon 7-5.

He'll nick some here and there, but Devon will run away with it. I don't mean LITERALLY no chance, mate.

7-5 sounds pretty competitive to me!

I've given my reasons many times before, I think Alexander will walk it after six rounds.

Alexander has a big edge in experience (look at his last 6 opponents - punch shy Randall Bailey excluded vs Brook's) but I believe Kell can do well here. Alexander is open to counters and Kell is lot slicker. I think he will take a few rounds to get going but I can see it getting closer as the fight goes on for a SD win or close points deficit. Kell will be in excellent condition.
