Boxrec is flawed. It's not the gospel on all things boxing. I see it as more of a guide and a source of historical info than anything. I like the way their rankings don't reward bumhunters in the way the organisations do.
Yeah, that's certainly less deserving than Kessler vs. Froch II but not quite as egregious an example as Price vs. Thompson, which is maybe two-and-a-half-star material.

I think this is just a mistake. The fight is a Five Star fight according to all their criteria. 5 stars = both opponents have 331 ratings points at least ~ best 100 boxers Froch Points - 898 Division Rating - 2 P4P Rating - 9 Kessler Points - 469 Division Rating - 3 P4P Rating - 46
