Malignaggi at his best is a handful for most fighters and can cause them serious problems. Its not a good matchup for Mosley, I am surprised at the amount of people thinking Mosley destroys him.
Moselys right hand will do a lot of damage, I'm not ruling out a tko if that right is finding a home.
That's exactly the problem. How are his best punches gonna find a home against a slick boxer with his reflexes as shot as they are? And going off of his last 2/3 fights, how good are his best punches at this stage?
you are not very good at math its jan 2013 now. he beat margarito in jan 2009 thats 4 years. and thats a long time since his last win. Mosley will be 42 this year. The WBA should be ashamed for sanctioning this "fight" mosley is beyond shot.
You saw how a pudgy 135 pounder Cano was landing that right with ease? And even knocked him down, paulie ain't as slick as made out to be he is done ad much as mosely is, cannot go hard for 12 rounds and slows output at the end, mosely if he comes in shape will outwork paulie and if that right hand finds a home early on, I can se pailie getting stopped. its 50/50 to me but I favor mosely.
exactly after having gone through a marriage and divorce with Jin there is nothing left to be embarrassed about
Look you negative internet assholes, it's time for some positivity. 1) I like Shane. I've always liked Shane. I even named my cat after him. 2) I also like Paulie. How can you not like a guy who has zero punching power but still somehow manages to win titles in two divisions? 3) I like this fight. Both guys can make some money, Shane won't take too much damage even if he loses, and if he wins then he has a belt to make another payday with. 4) It's a good enough fight to generate more than one thread arguing over who's gonna win it. So it can't be that bad.
this... I mean thats the same old shane everybody was angry about because of his performance on the pacquaio fight, who seems truly old but then on the other hand you got a shot slickster who looks like the most weakest champ out of 147 who looks ripe for the picking. this fight seems an advantage on paulie on hindsight but I'm not gonna rule shane out, its intriguing and both these guys deserved the payday
and paulie doesnt fear a SSM who will turn 42 this year. people need to quit thinking this is Shane from 2009 who dismantled Margarito. that was his last great hurrah. age caught him. ATG but now is getting embarrassed by guys he would have blown out 10 years ago
Again the problem for Paulie is Shane can still crack and Paulie isn't able to get away or take punishment at 147 that he took at 140.
Paulie can take it though. It took Khan eleven rounds to beat Paulie down, and Khan is an elite offensive force when his chin isn't getting cracked. An occasional lucky shot from old Shane won't do it. Like I said, it's a fun fight with things to be said on both sides.
