Marquez Offered 15 Million To Fight Zolani Marali In Dubai

Manny is no longer the A-side in a fight with Marquez.
Time changes things and a one punch KO most definitely changes things.

There really is no reason for Marquez to take less money now, especially when he has opportunities to make 15 million in Dubai fighting a scrub. Something I don't think Manny can do any longer.

 

How's the commission down there? Just sayin'.

I posted what Nacho said about Arum I'm pretty sure Marquez wants another shot at Pacquiao cause he knows it wasn't lucky. I'm surprised how much people think Pacquiao's name isn't more valuable, Manny is still the all great fighter and people want to see if it's over for him. I'll say 20 million each is possible but I guarantee Manny doesn't fight for 15 million when the last fight made 80 million in just the US.

 

Why the hell wouldn't Marquez take this payday? He could probably beat the guy without training.

Nacho says he has a written proposal from a prince for 15 million but the priority is Arum, so I wonder is anything signed.

 

I know a guy who turned down $40,000,000.00 for a blood test. Not enough training time seems like a LOT MORE LEGIT excuse to me for $15 biggies!!

 

I know what Nacho says, but seems to me it is just letting Arum know they have options and the least acceptable for them.

That being said, sorry but Manny does not get the big money over Marquez anymore, can't see a 50/50 split either because quite frankly this is the only big money fight Manny can get now.

As another poster also said, what's the commission like there? For all we know Marquez may not even be allowed to hit the guy (remember Ottke vs Reid).

 

Waited all this time for a fat pay day, much like RJJ, Lewis and Hopkins did. I'd advise him to take it, but by the sounds of it, he may decide against this brilliant opportunity.

 

Yea I gotta disagree with Don Nacho this time. Tho he does look out for Jmm and knows him more than anyone, but the John fight and the Mayweather fights not good decisions. This one is. Win-win situation for Marquez and city of Dubai.

 

He should take this fight and forget about a Pacquiao rematch.

I wish Marquez would fight the Pacman level of fighter in every fight. He fights mediocre guys or Manny. I just want to see him show he can be dominant against guys like Bradley or even Judah.
