His power was all he had no good defense or anything like that, Larry Holmes is a better example he started pretty late and went on to be in atleast the top 3 heavyweights or top 5 depending on the person

No offense to Shavers, but his power is extremely overrated.
Especially if you land a shot with so much leverage behind it and the man isn't KO'd

Yes, there have been fighters more naturally talented, but Shavers natural gifts were damn considerable. Julian Jackson, same way. You can't learn that. You're born with it.

Julian Jackson had no chin either. Malignaggi has no power. Are they useless and untalented too?

 

Malignaggi atleast floats like a butterfly and Jackson p4p was much harder than Shavers and had some extra skills to compensate his shitty chin.
