To be fair to Froch, he only went to pat Khan on the head but brushed his chin en route and accidentally sparked him.

 

I've heard it was more that Khan was winning the first 4 rounds easily but then accidentally got caught with a flailing arm that came from nowhere when Froch yawned, it was a shot that literally "would have knocked anyone out" and Khan, being too brave for his own good, actually managed to get back to his feet and wanted to carry on until Smith intervened.

However, when the footage was examined afterwards it seems that Nelson was mysteriously wearing a hat, this meant that the Khan camp felt the bust up was then null and void as Nelson may have tampered with something, their claims further enhanced by Froch testing positive for Lucozade.

 

Froch would beat Khan like a child.
