If Roach feeds him enough MacDonalds he might even make 200lbs. Then we could see him vs Samuel Peter and Pac mania can go into orbit. Frankly this fight is nothing short of a joke. Hatton is a flat out fraud. He cannot even clean out his own division but yet is interested in fights with blown up up flyweights? Why? Because of the amount of money involved. His always said his an average kid and a man of the people. He revels in the fact that he lives in an average house in his local town and still goes to the pub to play darts. And yet by this same farcical humility his only interested in making obscene amounts of money with the LEAST amount of risk involved all the meanwhile his mantra is "its for me fans".
If this is the case and Hatton wants to maintain any shred of credibility he`ll kindly tell Pacman to **** off.
hopefully, bcoz pac gots unfinished bussiness with jmm&if HE wants to maintain any credibility he'll address that asap.
This has been simmering for some time and frankly i hope the fight doesnt materialise, but i would watch it though. Most people refer to Pac as a monster, but thats all and well being a monster at super feather and feather but i think light welter is just a step too far and especially against Hatton. I could see Hatton stopping Pac in 2-4 rounds. On the flip side Pacquaio is the same height as Hatton but with a longer reach.
there is some good fights out there for both fighters, granted more so for pac but i just see this as a super fight what with both fan bases and thier styles. and vegas. the weight issue i think is a small huddle esp if pac has 2 fights at 135lbs this year, so in a year from now the step to 140 will be more then do-a-bal. more so for hatton but he needs a superfight to have some sort of legacy, with him being 1-1 kosta tszyu and flloyd, so we all settled on 1st quater of next year. LETS GET IT ON!
Pac was young back then. As it stands now, he's in his physical prime and will still be a small 135 when he moves up. Hatton shreds him to the body and stops him early. To be honest, this fight is pointless. Hatton's faced bigger guys, faster guys and harder hitters. Pac brings nothing that Hatton hasn't seen before at a higher level. If he takes this fight ahead of Witter, I won't be impressed.
The crazy thing is that the pac fans live in a Pac wonderland as well, so this fight might actually happen. Nobody who isn't a Ricky fan and wants to see ricky make millions in a low risk fight against an undersized opponent (a.k.a. pull a floyd) or Pac fans that are F'ing crazy enough to want this fight and might actually think their boy has a chance, has any real interest in making this fight happen. Only problem is that both these support groups are large enough to make this fight make sense without the rest of the boxing public's interest....so it could happen...unfortunently.
