    Yeah was surprised he beat Brennan as I was at the semis and Brennan looked a class above tbh, watch out for Brennan this year could be the dark horse, he is a class act imo and heard he just didnt turn up against Moran in the u23 final.

    Im thinkin about now and I think he's only 22, maybe it wasn't the seniors but he won a national title a few years ago and the took a few years out but got back into it a year or two ago.

    Yeah was surprised myself with him beating Brennan in U23s final I really rate Brennan as well thought he was fantastic when he won the u21s awhile back. Moran hasn't fought in the seniors sure he was beaten in Intermediates by Christy Joyce only 14 months ago.

    Do you know what Conlan, Nevin and Ward weighed in at? Are any of them considering going up a weight for the seniors?

    Could be his older brother Clyde Moran your thinking of? I boxed him couple times he fought for st.saviours would've done seniors and has couple Irish titles

    No I was thinkin of Thurles, my mistake, the three of them have national title's, thought Thurles had a senior. Yeah Clyde has four titles but only three senior.

    Wins for Cummings and McLaughlin tonight. Missed both of them but Willie's win looks good on paper. He beat Stefan Hartel (the german who beat O'Neill in the olympics).

    Just done a bit of googling and saw that Clyde Moran got himself into trouble a few years back. So that's why he disappeared off the boxing scene. In the same article it said that his father was murdered in the 90's. Sad really, seems that he made a few mistakes outside the ring. Unfortunate when you consider the potential he seemingly showed
