World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is likely to return on April 6, and rumors out of Germany indicate that former Cuban Olympic star Odlanier Solis may be his opponent.

Solis (18-1, 12 KO) fought older brother Vitali Klitschko in 2011, blowing out his knee in the first round. There are some who still maintain that he had an effective game plan, but given that the fight lasted a whopping 2:59, I think that's pretty impossible to state with any real confidence.

After a lengthy layoff, Solis, who has been dogged for his fitness (or lack thereof) as a professional, returned in May 2012 with a win over Konstantin Airich over 12 rounds. Solis weighed in at 267½ pounds for that fight, which is grossly out of shape for a pro athlete with his frame, near his career high of 271.

Tyson Fury, the 6'9" British prospect, ssays he's ready to step up and fight Wladimir, in his usual fashion:............. "Klitschko, if you fight Solis you are a *****....fight me! Solis is a fat **** [and] got [knocked out] by Vitali in [one]," Fury blasted on the social networks.

So he's berating Wlad for 'avoiding' him, but he had no problem avoiding Price (he even gave up TWO titles)

    :huh

I'd love to see Wlad-Fury over Solis all day, what a build up that would be as well as an execution!

When was Solis last in shape though? If he can't get in shape for Vitali why would he get in shape for wlad?

Does beating Airich earn a title fight?

Fury vs Wladimir would be FAR more interesting than Solis vs Wladimir any day. The build-up on it's own would be amazing. Wladimir Klitshchko doesn't do interesting or amazing though, we should all know that by now.

Tyson should sing Klitscko a song. Maybe that will convince him to give him a title shot.

I'm not saying i think it's going to happen, I'm saying IF he got himself in shape
Fury vs either klitschko would be more entertaining though
