Michael Spinks fought a lot of his lhw bouts weighting in at 173 on fight night.

Hagler fought most of his MW bouts weighting in at 157-159.

So in today's era can Hagler just weight in at 154 and rehydrate up a few poundsd?

Spinks at 168? Rehydrate up a few pounds?

So we could actually see Hagler vs Canelo?

And Spinks vs Lucian Bute??? :D

Hagler would probably be a Welterweight if he fought nowadays, and i'm, not even joking.

With 24-36 hour rehydration periods, Hagler could've easily gotten down to 154.

I am almost sure Marvin only weighed in at 157 -159, by fight time he was nearer 175.
Hagler was the Hopkins of his era, never ever ever out of shape.

This is the only bit of schooling your going to get, its called a "weigh in" and NOT a "weight in" until you can get that right dont ask anymore questions

Hagler at 154 is definitely quite something.
    Marciano at 175?
Hearns, SRL and SRR at 140?
Floyd Patterson too at the lower weights.

Let's be honest, even back then, the greats rarely hung around at 154.It's been an "unsexy division" not unlike LH and CW.
Even Winky and McCallum weren't there for that long in the grand scheme.I reckon Marvin would've tried to get to 160 one way or another.
