His chin is better than Wlad Klitschko. Look at Vitali's carrer at this point. Both Klitschkos fought tomato cans at this point in there Career. Wilder has not been koed at this point in his career where Wlad was. Wlad got knocked down by Panell and KTFO by purity at this point in his career. The reason Wilder in hated on the forum is because he is American and he is black.

 

A fighter of Ross Purrity level would be an incredible massive step up for Wilder.

Fact: Wlad, Price, Fury all have ceritified glass jaws as well......it's not like a glass jawed fighter cant be a successful HW. If he fought Fury he'd KO him cause Fury was KD'd by an even weaker puncher than Sconiers and was hurt much more than Wilder, plus he's far slower and featherfisted....in essence: Fury is sloppy doesn't have the defense to avoid a right hand from a much quicker fighter, he also doesn't have the chin to take a right hand from someone who punches like Wilder if a Gypsy with a less than 20% KO rate in Pajkic had him hurt badly and beat him around the ring before and after the KD.....at the same time Fury doesn't have the power to crack anyones chin so safe bet on Wilder there which is why Fury ignores all the call outs and says he needs to prove himself first......

I think we'll see Wilder get KO'd a few times before he's done but he'll also notch some impressive KO's himself. He'll be a big draw and likely a top 10 HW who stands a chance at grabbing a strap vs a weak jawed fighter once the Klits retire.

 

Wilder has more threads about him then almost any other fighter. Can't help but think that people have something else behind their hate.

True that being overweight doesn't mean you can't punch, infact the extra weight probably adds to the power if you have decent speed, like Arreola or Ruiz Jr.

But Wilder should naver have been caught with the punch in the first place. He is reckless and is there to be hit. Maybe it's because he's facing opponents he could KO blind folded and just has no fear.

I think Wilder has natural ability but is being poorly handled. He's learning nothing by facing guys like Greer.

Some would say he is taking a lot of hate, I would say the pressure is mounting for him to step up. If he keeps facing no hopers then the pressure will keep building for him to step up.

He's in his 5th year as a pro, at 27 is in his physical prime and has had 27 fights. He should have stepped up 10 fights ago but hasn't his career is in a holding pattern until he can prove he can fight beyond this level.
