There is no chance It will go PPV If they proceed with the May 25th date SKY would lose a **** load of PPV revenue on the fight, 31st or Early June It is then.

It's more PPV than Haye vs Harrison

And yet there'll be people on here celebrating this likelihood.

Froch is simply not a popular consciousness fighter, whilst boxing is even more of a niche sport.

He's right when he says there are only three fights in UK pay-per-view worthy. This fight, Brook vs Amir Khan (if there was a world title at stake) and Price vs Fury. There's NOTHING else right now.

If PPV does return I hope it's only as a rarity. If they start making all of Froch's fights PPV after this plus Kell Brook's if he becomes world champion they can **** off.

Eddie the Saint brings back PPV. Wonderful.

On the same night as the CL final as well. Isn't that a bit mad?

according to the article its def 25th may, it seems Eddies idea is to run it after the champions league final and play on that expect massive advertising during the final etc.

Will it be £15 as usual, or are they bringing in the Danish PPV prices as well, £50?!

Dawson v Pascal is down for the same night. Sky could put this on the PPV to make it a marathon night of boxing!!!

more chance of it being ppv on 25th may because of the captive tv audience watching the final according to the article.

everthing weve heard so far its pretty much nailed on for ppv anyway its been mentioned by hearn pretty much every time hes talked about the fight since day 1

the location is still not decided is interesting manchesters got a bigger capacity but i presume they can charge more in london. will having the final in london affect whether they can have the fight aswell??

I hate PPV and even though I want to see the fight and think it will be brilliant, I'm not paying.

PPV is just a way to rip people off. People with Sky already pay a fortune for the channels without having extortionate PPV fees as well.

And lol, was Haye vs Fraudley really a PPV fight? Who in the right mind would pay to watch that? I feel like I want paying after sitting through one of A-Farce's "fights".

Pretty sure the CL final is a tea time kick off now.

Nope, I'm sure it's still 7.45pm. There has been talk of having it kick off earlier in the future but I don't think that's actually gone through.

Would have been great if they avoided PPV and had the fight follow the final on SS1.
