All Jr is be disciplined as are all elites. Fighting off the jab long distance makes him a double threat, but he hardly does that **** anymore. And he relies on his chin and size too much when he goes on the attack or on the inside. He lacks the bob and weaving, head to head side movement his dad in his prime had. He also isnt too versatile either. Hook, hook, and more hooks. He needs GGG's trainer, Don Nacho, or Garcia for sure.

It seems he does worse when he doesn't listen to Roach. At his best, he's a pressure fighter with a tight guard, good upper body movement, and tight punches; he can also be a decent boxer who uses his height behind a jab like against Manfredo Jr.

Against Sergio, he was a stiff brawler with no variation. As you said, no show of versatility. I think Freddie just picks stubborn fighters (like Khan) who don't always follow the mold he works them into, even though it benefits them. You can only tweak a fighter, not change their temperament.

Bernard Hopkins was once asked what trainer was the best in the world,he said Freddie roach...Even though Hopkins has been with Richardson most of the time... Hopkins must know what he is talking about.
