    Shut up.

It always amazes me when people on here wear their complete lack of boxing knowledge proudly on their sleeve . Like it's a good thing to be stupid .

    best decision he ever made.

    He still got his health.

And with Marquez beating Pac, according to most boxing fans, he dont have to anymore.

Ortiz's decision to head butt Mayweather right when the fight was starting to get a tad competitive. Tad is the operative word here.

Looked up that 85 million for Floyd. It said he had ZERO in endorsements, which was kind of crazy. I realize he has a lot of baggage, but zero?

To answer the question, didn't Gamboa turn down a million dollar pay day? Now they're talking about putting him in with Bradley, for what I imagine would be a fraction of that. He'd probably lose. Then what? Not a million bucks.

Closer to 30, the 6 is just the upfront pay in the US.
If you are going to be a nuthugger at least be a informed one.

    no it's quite accurate.

Mayweather Oscar generated 2.45 million ppv buys and a ppv revenue of $137 million
De La Hoya made $52 million and Mayweather made $25 million.

So the fighters split 77 out of the 137 million up for grabs. 56%

Mayweather Cotto got 1.5 million ppv buys and generated $94 million (the price of the ppv cost more than Oscar/Floyd)
Floyd went home with 45 million and Cotto got ~10-13 million

So the fighters split 55 out of the 94 million. 59%

Now going based off this trend, for Pacquiao and Floyd to both get over 100 million combined, they'd have to generate a revenue of at least 166.7 million dollars in ppv (they could also make up the diffeence in sponsors and gate).
The average price of the Mayweather/Cotto ppv was 62 dollars (94 million/1.5 million).

So based off that, Mayweather vs Pacquiao would need to sell 2.68 million ppv buys at the same price as Mayweather vs Cotto.
