You mean his in-ring weight? I didn't know what it was on the night.

yes good fight. Worth Watching. I agree with other posters. De LaHoya was poor. But Manny Pac was absolutely brilliant that night.

To be a 4 to 1 underdog, and absolutely destroy your opponent!

Has that ever been done before on that level.

Honestly, before the fight not too many people have PAC a chance.
You can't judge this fight based on the hype tho.
De la Hoya was beyond shot and if I ever wanted to show someone what a completely drained fighter looks like I would tell them to watch that fight.
How can you give PAC credit for this win? He faught a skeleton.
Pacturds like to give PAC credit based off the hype and ignore the fact de la Hoya was completely drained and shot to pieces.

Nearly exactly 12 months after he gave your hero one of his toughest fights.

I think ODLH did very well against Mayweather. He lost a split dicision..but didn´t looked shot IMO in that fight...But i wonder why he would go to 147 at all!! But he did,and he said postfight that he couldn´t pull the trigger anymore...Witch i think is just the half piece of the storie,Pacquiao was lightning fast, stepped in and landed his shots and was out of reach before ODLH could counter him...With all the boxing knowledge Oscar had,he MUST have known that Pac was too fast...I dont know what his gameplan was,but Nacho and Oscar must have thought they could corner Pac and knock him out...I think it was the worst decision to take the fight.Even Dundee was there while ODLH was in camp,i really like both Oscar and pacquiao. But i would have loved to see Oscar fight his last fight against someone he could match...at his naturel weight.

I seen from the 24/7 Oscar had completely lost his hand speed, so I favored Manny, when I seen that Manny was the bigger man in the ring, I knew it would be a one sided ass whipping

Why wouldn't you want to watch a great fighter in his prime beat the **** out of a shot, weight-drained former great fighter?

You mention Floyd, but completely gloss over pillow fisted Forbes shatering his orbital Bone, and him getting his ass whipped in sparring by Valero, Oscar was completely shot post Floyd, and had no business at 147 or 145 whatever the fight was contracted at......

I didn´t knew about forbes and Valero smashing him in sparring...That just make the dicision to fight pacquiao more insane...Thanks for bringing that up :good But i still think he did well Vs. Mayweather.

And i even think Pacquiao could have knocked out Oscar after round 5.. If he had kept on going for it.
