Count me in!!! I want to see Bryan Rios vs Lucas Matthyse too! PPV!

 

Useless fight. Matthysse easily ko's him in two rounds. Bring on the real challenges. Matthysse vs Huck!!!!

Matthysse can box at long, mid and short range. He has his most success at mid range from what I've seen, but works well at long range. Rios' long range barely exists, has his most success at short range, and works very well at mid range.

It's an intriguing bout, but one that I see Rios taking too much punishment in. Rios uses his punch resistance to get in to punching range, and Matthysse carries very good power. Not sure if Rios gets stopped (his punch resistance will only take him so far), but I'd favour Matthysse in this bout.

 

Round 4 or 5 Alvarado was setting up BIG right hands with his jab from mid/long range and really rocking Rios - Really thought rios was gonna get stopped.. Lucas would do the same but with greater results. Alvarado's shoulder defence got him KO'd.. Rios killed him with the right hand left hook.

Alvarado might be able to beat Rios next time out as long as he uses the right gameplan and sticks to it.

 

I think if you're a boxing fan, you should want to see that fight.

 

I want to see Matthysse against Rios, Maidana, and Garcia.

Matthysse would beat the **** out of Rios. And that's not just because of how highly I rate Lucas but equally because of how lowly I rate Brandon.

 

Rios' ability to take shots and keep dishing his own out is his biggest strength, and anyone who relies on that will come unstuck at some point. Whether it is a defense they can't crack (Abril) or someone who can stand with them, dish out heavy punishment, and neutralise their work by landing more (IMO Matthysse). Rios' resistance is already starting to wane (if you can say/predict that). Matthysee, if it happens, could see Rios take a stoppage loss.

Alvarado will try to box more, and will last more rounds before being pulled in to another war IMO.

Rios punching resistance is deteriorating , so I see Lucas stopping him at some point , maybe K.O him.

What I really want to see is Matthysse vs Danny Garcia cuz I want to see Angel's face when Danny is stretched out cold on the canvas. :yep

 

It would be a war, would undoubtedly be worth watching.
