Who cares about Garcia/Khan 2? Bring on Garcia/Mathysse

Garcia beating Khan was a massive upset, not sure what that or rematch clauses have to do with it though :huh

The OP states because he got knocked out clean theres no point in a rematch, im just letting him there are plenty of fighters that have come back from KO losses to avenge defeat 2nd time around.

It's a nice excuse to make in retrospect that Danny was timing him.

Khan was outboxing him, until he was stupid leaving himself open and he got what he deserved. Amir's downfall for me was bad work by Khan rather than good work by Garcia.

I haven't seen anything from Danny yet that suggests he has much going for him other than his big looping hook. As I said before, if Khan really is listening to Hunter then for me Khan wins the rematch.

 

a fight with matthyse makes much more sense than one with khan. I'd then prefer him to fight the winner of Peterson - holt and further unify the division.

There isn't much need for a khan fight other than a low risk high reward fight for swift.

 

There is no need for a rematch. Massive upset? To who? Garcia was undefeated had a belt and has good skills and a good punch. Khan coming off a lose and with a weak chin... Yeah its a miracle.

 

I'd love to see either fight happen although Matthysse has probably earned it by now.

The Khan that fought sensibly against Malignaggi, Kotelnik, Judah etc can UD Garcia easy. Khan was was swinging like a caveman trying to knock Danny out and paid for it. He just hasn't got the chin to fight like that

Khan has as much chance of beating Garcia as Patterson does of beating liston.
