Khan's not usually slow at calling out fading veterans,so here's his chance to guarantee a rematch with Garcia if it's what he really wants.
Fight Lucas for his belt which would surely force Garcia's and the WBC's hands.
Or is it possible that Virgil is smart enough to know that Lucas could put paid to Amir's career as a top flight fighter?
Matthyse is going to the top of the "who needs him?" chart and I suspect Khan and Garcia will do their utmost to keep out of his way.
Only thing Lucas can do is try and sell more tickets and force the issue.

 

This Matthysse situation reminds me a bit of Maidana before Khan fought him.

 

Khan got clipped by Prescott and did not immediately avenge that. How dare you ****ing compare that glass chinned joke to a heavyweight great. Lennox immediately re matched his losses and won them without thinking twice (not that in heavyweights one punch doesnt end it). Khan is too busy worried about how he is going to get starched next. He is done, Khan's career is over and there is no comeback. Watch him go the route of Audley Harrison.

 

I'd bet my fairly expensive car on Garcia to knockout khan in a rematch.

 

Here, let me help try and analyse this fight for you. If Khan keeps disciplined like he has in other fights, stays at range behind the jab/straight Garcia would struggle badly. Wading in like a headless chicken throwing wide, reckless punches was playing right into Garcias hands.

Khan would school Garcia in a rematch. Lucas would KO Garcia in a match. The end.

 

I had money on Garcia the first time. And Khan fought the same as he always does. Throwing the same combos he always does and got laid the **** out. Keep making bull**** excuses and acting like Khan is untouchable. He got trucked by a counter punch and it happened the entire fight and would happen in the second fight for as long as it lasts. But yeah mention the Dallas fight like that means ****.

 

Everyone seems very quick to anger and extremely keen to start talking about male genitalia.

 

Khan had his chance to school Garcia and he ended up ktfo.

 

I don't think anyone here thinks Khan is untouchable, I think the point is that Khan is capable of boxing smarter than he did.

The Dallas comparison 'means ****' in that you're apparently prone to poor decisions.
