Mayweather clearly won and was robbed of his opportunity to fight for and likely win the gold.
Even the ref raised mayweathers hand as the victor, that's how convincing the win for Mayweather was.

 

atsch Look at the slow-mo highlights of that last round. Watch the whole fight and score it. If you know how to score a fight you'll have Todorov as the winner, he landed the cleaner, harder more eye catching shots for the judges. The ref should have no idea who is winning, he's focusing on the action. The ref raised the wrong hand because there was an error in communication or he was confused by Mayweather acting confident and raising his hand when he lost.
The US team appealed the decision as they often do in close fights, Mayweather was hardly dominant as an amateur.. In his previous fight he prevailed by only 1 point and was lucky to get that decision.

Floyd fights people coming off impressive wins, at their preferred weights (except for JMM), when they're ranked either PFP or top 5 in their division. And he dominates them.

manny fights people coming off consecutive losses, at catchweights or disadvantageous weight classes, when they're wayyyyy past their prime (DLH, Mosley, Hatton, Morales). And he gets knocked the **** out by a 40 year old, plodding JMM. Yet "Andy McNab" and some of you other pac****s consider his feats impressive.
