With four Olympic medalists and a European senior champion the strength and depth of Irish boxing has never been so good. I heard Egan is back to form and could upset Ward:think

Dunno about that bud.. Joe could only have gotten better since last year, I expect pretty much the same as last year if they meet but maybe with a stoppage.

I agree. Last year people said the same. Rumours were going around that Egan was back to his best and that Ward would have his hands full. Joe is just too powerful for him, and realistically Egan's career is on a steady decline

So looks like Yaqub Kareem is now scheduled to defend his Commonwealth Super-Flyweight title vs Paul Butler. Funny that, it's not like Merseyside fighters such as Butler, John Donnelly and Kevin Satchell have been given opportunities ahead of Jamie Conlan in the past.....

Such a frustrating career for Jamie, and unfortunately with the way the lower weights of British boxing are being promoted at the moment it's gonna stay that way. Wilton is only getting his chance because they see Satchell cutting through him with consummate ease :-(

Man its tough for Jamie but our boxers could have it worse.
At least we have the right medical staff available when someone looks like they are injured. Anyone who was watching todays boxing news will know what I am talking about!!
I know Irish/UK refs are a bit quick to stop fights but I much rather that than what goes on in other parts of the world.
God bless that poor kid Tubagus Sakti

Obviously not, if there's thread here dedicated to Irish boxing with over 45000 views.
