I doubt it but those who are saying it is a **** fight are wankers.

Don't get me wrong, it isn't exactly a mouth watering prospect but Rees will come to fight and I can't see him doing any worse than demarco did. Show the kid some respect ffs.

    Save your money though...

Rees is a top ten opponent, so it's def a good fight. I agree, too many calling it a **** fight.

It's a solid fight when you consider everything else. Broner is with out a doubt an exceptional talent, though when you realise that Burns, Vazquez, Bogere and Abril are tied up with each other. There isn't a lot left in the division at world level.

At least Rees can boast the fact he was a former world champion, he's fought at world level, and he's only been beaten once, by one of the most under-rated fighters of recent years.

Gavin Rees will do better than people think, he's used to 140lb so those expecting him to be ko'd by the first solid shot Broner lands might be in for a surprise. He didn't do THAT bad against Kotelnik he will certainly make a good fight of it.

Broner is too quick for Rees so save your money. If you do feel like a punt why not put it on broner to win in the 10-12 round 7-1. Rees is tough, durable and been the full 12 many times.

Eh... he may own British level, or maybe even European level. But Broner is no Derry Matthews, so no.

Completely agree. I'd be surprised if Rees won but he certainly has enough about him to give Broner the odd problem. Rees is a fairly tough and durable guy plus he has come down from Light Welter and Broner has come up from Super Feather so could match Broner for strength which would be a big thing.

I look at this fight like Mayweather v Hatton. Rees good footwork, movement and is a pressure fighter but Broner is a stylistic nightmare for him. Wouldnt waste your money mate. Would love to see rees do well, but on paper broner will get him out rd 8-10

I put a tenner on at 14/1 just in case the near impossible happens, but I don't expect it to return

Broner will wear down Rees and stop him late.

Rees does not stand a legitimate chance in this matchup. He's a good fighter, but he's out of his depth here.

I seem to remember Rees being up on the cards against Kotelnik after 6 or 7 rounds. He was boxing well, although Kotelnik is a slow starter. I think a punch burst his eardrum, which affected him, and he got worn down and stopped in the last.

He's definitely not winning though. The Hatton-Mayweather comparison isn't a bad one -this is like a scaled-down version, although it should be more competitive.
