For some reason I noticed when I am in a fight I am EXTREMELY aware of my surroundings but after the fight I can remember at best only a few glimpses of the fight. Is there any reason why?

I think it's pretty usual in the first couple of fights. The adrenalin and stress comes into play. It happened for my first two or three bouts, but then it went away.

    No.

    Amy is correct.

It is not exclusive to boxing.

Absolutely. This happens to me often.

After a match or intense sparring I seem to only remember certain punches. I'd be sparring a guy and afterwards he'd say "Man you hit me with a nice left hook!" and I'd be thinking "I did?"

I think its adrenaline too, most ppl who get injured in car crashes usualy dont remember what happened too, stressfull or very scary moments get erased from memory.
