I don't dislike Donaire either, but I'm not a huge fan, I respect his talents and think he's a decent guy. That said, his response to Rigo after the Arce fight was horrendous, and his teams handling of the Mares **** has been horrendous. He's reached a level where people want to see him fight the best, Mares and Rigo are his only legit options at 122 yet he seems reluctant to fight either, and that's dissappointing. That said, I don't wish bad things on the dude, and I like his chances in either of the fights.

 

My goodness they released they have the contract up at the scene, Scheafer is out for blood

 

Just make Santa Cruz Vs. Mares instead forget Top Rank.

I honestly can't see any scenario other than getting away with excessive low blows that Mares could beat Nonito, so I don't see why he would be afraid. Mares is either getting his head knocked off, or his Mexican chin (which I don't really think is all that good) allows him to only take a severe beating a lose s decision

 

There may have been some ducking with rigo, rigo is a fight which should be so easy to make. But Mares? Come the f on. Nonito is the one who called out Mares at the end of HIS last fight. He wanted to fight Mares, then people said, look at that he is going for Mares to duck Rigo, who would be the tougher challenge. Now all of a sudden he is DUCKING Mares? Are you serious? This is the same logic people applied to Mayweather, with Pac and Mosley. O he ducked Mosley so he could fight Marquez, then he whoops Mosleys, o he was his and that and he should have fought pac. What's going to happen if Nonito fights Mares than KO's him potentially? Mares was never that good, and he shouldve fought rigo? People with reason should know, once you have haters for some reason, there is nothing you can do. You could fight the people they ask for, and beat them, they will still have issues and say why arent you doing this or that, or that you are ducking someone. Lets say you fight them, and lose some decisions, then they will do what they do with Oscar - oh he was overrated since he loss most of his meaningful fights. Or Trinidad, he wasn't that great, he cheated, glass jaw, let B-Hop end his career, 1 dimensional, etc.

I imagine that nothing nonito will do will be enough. Once you have that haters on you, they not getting off your back. The only person in boxing I have seen that turned the haters on his side, was Ali.

 

These no nuts know one thing. Blame Arum and Top Rank. Facts mean nothing to them. They gang up on me thinking enough fools saying the same thing equals fact if they shout long and loud enough. I could well be wrong but not based on what we know at this point.
