Against Devon Alexander, both Harold Lederman and Larry Merchant scored the fight for Matthysse. At the end, Larry said "I wonder who will win this fight in Alexander's home town."

Against Zab Judah, Harold Lederman scored it for Matthysse. Larry Merchant wasn't on the HBO panel that night.

All the compubox statistics were in favor of Matthysse: overall punches (thrown, landed and percentage) and power punches (thrown, landed and percentage). :deal

Only someone with serious bias would think an SD victory in your own back yard is a legit win.

He win both fights. The Judah one by a closer margin, the Alexander one was highway robbery.

The Judah fight could have went either way. Lucas was a bit more cautious in that fight and his slow start resulted in the fight being closer than it likely would have been, had he fought with the urgency he currently fights with.

The Alexander fight was a robbery, however. I had Lucas winning 6 rounds to 4, plus he scored a knockdown. You could also make a case for a 10-8 round in whichever round it was (round 8, think) where Lucas kicked the **** out of Devon and it looked like he was on the verge of scoring a stoppage. No way in hell Alexander deserved that decision.

**** zab and **** alexander. Lucas is the real king at 140. Danny garcia needs to grow a pair and man up to face his mandatory. Would love angel garcia to try his **** on lucas... Payback in the ring on his son would be heavy

Ledderman scorecards shouldn't be taken seriously. he's had some off the wall scores in fights.

compubox doesn't mean a thing. it's about ROUNDS, not punches landed. u can land a thousand in a round but lose the rest.

LOL. Judah gave him a boxing lesson hard to give LM more than 3 round in that fight and Devon straight outworked him. You don't win rounds getting outlanded and outthrown. Matthysee head was like a rolling ball taking constant flush shots from Devon all night long. Judah hurt him too many times and had LM out on his feet at least three times!

One of the greatest myths in this hype jobs alreayd shoddy "career" Whose best win is against a guy who got outboxed by Guzman nearly one decade ago!

The brothers need to understand lucas beat both those guy and they were both lucky the fight was in their home town and was only 10 rounds. If it had been championship they would have been caught late on as lucas was getting stronger. Split decision Win in your backyard is always fishy... Froch-dirrell, peterson-khan etc.

Lucas now has changed the way he fights and it might be a blessing for him to have been robbed twice in his opponents backyard, because now he goes for the kill straight up.

Losses or not, to be honest everyone knows lucas is the BAD MAN at 140, certainly not quitter judah and not Alexander who is now at 147.

Eh, the Judah fight could have gone either way honestly. Judah actually looked like the better fighter in that one, but shot himself in the foot by taking a lot of rounds off. Alexander was a robbery. But it's not like he looks like some unstoppable beast.
