It's not that bad a fight to be honest, I think Bute will still win but Degale if he performs well has a chance.

I'd love the fight to be made but there's next to **** all hope of it happening on the undercard of Froch.

This wouldn't surprise me, Degale is silver champion and Bute is meant to be fighting for vacant WBC strap

With different promoters (hennessy and hearn)

Different tv deals (Froch sky and degale 5)

    Makes it hard to happen

But, hearn said bute may fight on the same night, not deffo on same bill and possibly for wbc title. Degale has wbc silver title so a 'huge what if' would be degale fighting bute for wbc. Not on sky and maybe in canada instead.

Its a huge outside chance but theres been people who deserve a shot a lot less who get them so you never know.

This is what you call being optimistic haha!!

Then again im optimistic that Lucy Lui wil come to my door and ask me out.

    Ignorance is bliss people!!

    :patsch

hmmmm, interesting fight if it happens and Kudos to Hennesey.

If DeGale puts in a good perfromance he has every chance of winning, to be honest I havent seen a great deal of Bute, he looked pretty poor in his last fight. I dont consider him to be anything special.

We don't know the ins and out of the Degale deal with Mick, it was a bit of a strange one when it was announced. Maybe its not a clear cut as Fury's, and that Degale has the option to fight away from Micks TV deal for a fee.
If this is on a PPV undercard then you would think there's enough money in the pot to smooth it over. Plus lets be honest, that would be the start of a better undercard than most would have expected.

Unless Eddie is operating at a 7 figure loss with the first of them 7 being at least a 2! I very much doubt this................
