OK now this is just a joke. Stay busy fight? What was every fight in his career besides Proska? You can claim the whole division is ducking him but there no way they couldn't find better opponents then Rosado and Isida...... and actual ****ing Middleweights.

This whole "avoided" **** is just marketing. Look at Pirog. He was so avoided and his resume and career is the exact same as GGG. This **** is laughable.

So avoided you can't find better opponents then gatekeepers one division down? Tell me another story Walt Disney.

I'd rather him stay busy old school style, then have to wait 8-9 months in between his fights to see him in the ring doing his thing.

Now if this goes on for another year, then I'll start bitching more. For now I'll give him a pass, as long is next 1 or 2 fights is a serious rated contender/champion.

Is this the new formula for boxing? Build up a name, get him on HBO then defend titles against the division below? Maybe I haven't been paying attention and it's been going on for a while but it seems to be happening a lot lately.

Yep. Golovkin hasn't beaten a top 8 opponent yet but of course he IS avoided.

    - Mundine: purse bid for WBA title held, Mundine ran to JMM (when he was not that old as today)
    - Sturm: was upgraded to "super champion" in order to avoid a fight with his mandatory
    - N'Dam: never wanted any part of Golovkin as "interim champion"
    - Geale: gave up his WBA title (I'm not saying he ducked him - money talks, if the Aussies are dumb enough to pay him much more for a mismatch - good for him)
    - Pirog: agreed to fight him, backed out because of an injury (no ducking either, gave up his title for the Golovkin fight)
    - Quillin: bull**** excuses (no household name blabla) - looks like he is ducking him
    - Martinez: see Quilinn - but when he gets millions against Chavez in a rematch you can't blame him for not facing Golovkin for much less.

He will be back on HBO and they won't let him face "bums" forever.
UK/Irish fighers like Barker or Macklin should be next. If he beats one of them, Quillin and Geale would have a hard time to explain why they don't want to fight Golovkin.

Whats the problem if he fights Isida at the end of march and then fights Geale providing Geale is true to his word in the summer. Who else is Golovkin going to land at 2 months notice? He's doing absolutely nothing wrong by keeping busy and not allowing his name to fade into the background.

As a fan of Golovkin, I like seing him over power these C and D level fighters, for pure entertainment sake, but I would like to see him fight someone worthy soon..

**** people need to take it easy... entertaining fighter staying busy. how about you fuc*ing idiots get into the business of boxing and try arrange fights. then again with every fighter there are extreme fans and extreme haters... Tell me one fighter who is on his way up or was on his way up who fought only the top guys day in day out.

If GGG keeps on fighting B/C level for the next year you might have a point... but until then STFU and enjoy a KO artist do his thing.

I agree with what you're saying, all he can do is fight (it seems), but I really want to see Golovkin being put to the test..
Besides I don't think that Golovkin has beaten any fighters that can be considered B level, but I guess we all have standards for the alphabet groups.

I would consider Proksa a B level, and before he los to hope he was considered border line B/A level. Now for whatever reason he is considered C level after he got owned by GGG... either way Proksa was solid... Rosado was improving and motivated as hell which i can do the trick sometimes and i think he could have beaten a few of the top peeps at junior middleweight level but not likely the top peeps at middleweight level.

yeah I wish more fighters did this. Take 3 soft touches in a year and 2 big threats, and I really wouldn't mind as long as you're not ducking anybody

I just think that the defeat to Hope is what keeping me from rating him as a B level fighter, he is a C+ fighter imo though. Rosado had some things going for him, and was a very capable JMW, better win than most think I believe..
