Yeah, a semi prime Vitali KTFO Haye. Vitali comes to fight. Just imagine what a guy like Foreman or Lewis would have done to him.
Please. We don't like them because they hid out in Europe for years where there were a handful of decent HWs, are boring, and so huge that size is probably the overriding factor as to why they win. I respect them as fighters, but they do not make me want to see HW Boxing.
This. :deal Too many of these idiots just jump to the simplest conclusions of hatred, that being race or nationality, all the while ignoring the obvious, and that's that the K bros are just not enticing, or all that interesting.
Yep, you've hit the nail on the head here. I'd add a number 3, the Americans don't have any top HW's, the Klitschko's have beaten their best. This argument that they're boring just doesn't hold up, Americans praise fighters like Andre Ward and Tim Bradley, and they're just like the Klitschko's, effective but oh so boring EDIT: Vitali has lost twice, both losses were legitimate
What bald, you don't see all the threads Tim gets praising him? Far more than the Klit bros. :roflatsch
US Americans think Bernard Hopkins is exciting. Yet his fights are the worst **** wrestling, hugging and clinching matches known to man. Just awful to watch. Brits thought Calzaghe was exciting. I can't even recall a single exciting Calzaghe fight. Usually you got these awful 12 rounds slapfests without any memorable highlights. When it comes the K brothers both US Americans and Brits will quickly label them 'boring' and 'unexciting'. The problem is the same people use double standards when rating their own fighters. It's pathetic. I don't mind labeling Wlad 'boring'. But if we do that please let's do the same for Hopkins and Calzaghe.
atsch Please tell us WHO here has said Hopkins is exciting. You try to make a point bring up Hops, but it's totally baseless and pretty much kills your flawed premise right off the bat. Go watch Wlad vs. Ibrigimov and tell me how fun that was. Or pretty much any of Wlad's other fights. Fact of the matter is, he's adopted his saftey first style since being under Steward. And while it's been very effective for Wlad, no one likes to see a giant fight like he's afraid to get his by smaller guys. That was also a fair criticism laid upon Lennox and a reason he too never got the fanbase around him.
Have to agree with Jeff and a few others here, where someone is from is academic to me it is what they bring to the ring. The Klit's although physically impressive in size, lack the warrior mentality for me to rate them that highly.
...because there is a thread about them made every minute. Can we stop talking about these bums already? There are plenty of other things boxing-related to talk about.
The Klitschkos actually has a lot of fans, but it's true, if only they would have been born in the u.s.a. (not even with different names or whatsoever, since to say american is to say all kind of immigrate, and american is everyone and nobody ), they would actually be praised as A.T.G., and probably Waldo already would be proposed as the G.O.A.T.; But the funny thing is that if the K2 would have born in 'murica.... they probably wouldn't be boxers actually, but, whatever, managers, surf instructors, swimmer, basket players, football players, gangster bosses, etc.. p.s.: regarding the Mormeck fight: i was SO disappointed by it... i mean, Waldo could have ended it with one arm only, and instead.... he... grabbed? WTF?! But then i realised: Some months earlier he defeated Haye, a fight that required months of preparations; probably he after went for a global trip holydays, and he did literally nothing for entire months, apart drink Martinis and **** chicks till it burn.... you know, classic ****.... disappointing, but not totally surprising.
