Mike Mollo -Szpilka!

Very good fight. We have to remember that the polish guy is only 23 years old!

 

and it was only his 8th HW fight, he had 5 at CW pre-prison. Basile, Beck, McCline, Mollo is very good compitition for 8 fights.

You use needles for syringes or to sew, needle in polish is "igla". Only correct translation of szpilka is "the pin".

The ref was a disgrace and should lose his job not only swearing at a fighter but also a horrible point deduction

 

He doesnt have very good punch resistance to begin with.

And before I get jumped on by the Poles, I might add that what he lacks in resistance, he more than makes up for with HEART.:deal

 

Exactly, pretty good line up as for 23 years old kid if u ask me. Maybe he is not ultra talented but he will improve his defence and grow some brain as he gets a little bit older

nice to see Szpilkas jab is getting better...had a decent jab here just use it more Artur..
as for those who says Szpilkas punching resistance is bad...
fists kd was a push and Szpilka tried get a point ala David Haye flop...as for second KD it was a clean and powerful punch,not many fighters would stay on feet after this...and Szpilka didn't look wobbly or hurt ,after he got up he went straight into attack..
good lesson for young Szpilka...

 

Wasilewski promotes Szpilka and Zimnoch but has done a shitty job for Zimnoch the last few years, his contract is almost up and he wants to find a new promoter. Included in the contract for the Szpilka fight is a promotional extension for Zimnoch, Wasilewski is trying to coerce him in to staying using the fight as leverage.

Zimnoch wants to fight Szpilka but won't sign so as long as the promotional extension is included so he hasn't signed yet. Whether the fight happens depends on how big of a ******* Wasilewski is. If he doesn;t remove the extension from the fight contract Zimnoch won't sign and he'll lose him anyway so hopefully he'll do the right thing and it will be resolved soon.

 

Mollo is a warrior, the ref is a scumbag and Szpilka is proven flawed.

Szpilka showing some humbleness, says he needs to take some serious conclussions out of this fight, he admits he has a lot of work to do, he says he needs more fights like this, to be thrown in deep water and learn how to react under pressure, instead of beating up cans and stop resting on the 'glory' of such fights
