Hearns in my opinion is the worst style match up for Pac out of the above listed.. Huge power, long, tall fighter that could also box very well.. I don't think Pac goes 12.. I think Hearns would land on Pac a lot.

You think Pacquiao can beat an offensive minded Leonard at 147lbs? Explain your reasoning. Duran was successful at bullying Leonard due to his cuteness inside. He could fight you at close quarters without getting hit square on. The rare occasions you do hit him with your sunday punch - if it happens - then chances are he'll be able to take it. Duran had a ridiculous chin. Took Barkley's best at the age of 37 up at Middleweight. Pacquiao isn't as cute, doesn't utilise as much head movement - or feints - and he doesn't catch as well as Duran. If Leonard really turned it on, he'd have Manny Pacquiao out of there inside 8 rounds.

No, I definitely think Leonard beats Pac.. Possibly by stoppage. Too big, too strong and overall too good.. Pac has never fought anyone close to him.

Manny specifically from 08-10 is not giving anybody an easy night. You have to understand boxing to know back then he showed some of the best footwork and unorthodox combination punching the sport has ever seen.
Duran will bullrush him and will eat the same shot that comotosed Hatton , solid chin or not nobody can keep taking those shots flush on the chin. especially not Hearns.

You have to have actually seen Roberto Duran fight to know that he doesn't "bull rush" fighters. That implies he closes distance with complete disregard for defense. That isn't Roberto Duran. He moves his head, he employs feints, he starts his combinations downstairs. He rolls with punches, and he's a monster on the inside.

How do you suppose Manny Pacquiao is going to land with regularity on a 6'1 Hearns? I'm curious. How does that happen? 6'1 Hearns who outboxes Sugar Ray Leonard, who knocks out Junior Middleweights and Middleweights with single shots?

    1. Duran isn't Hatton. Duran has skill.

    2. Hearns was 6-1. Pacquiao would lose power punching up.

    3. Miguel Cotto lasted 12 rounds with Pacquiao

Hearns KO 5. Robinson KO 7, Leonard KO 12, Duran UD, Benitez UD.
Pac is talented with speed power, heart, angles, but who has he beat
At 147 that suggests He does well against these fighters. Hell get caught
coming in against Hearns, SRR has too much in his arsenal, Leonard is
Too determined, Duran to skilled and relentless, Benitez too tricky.

at 147 I feel duran lost a step and Pac Got to his peak vs Cotto, so I feel he can beat Duran, Duran was skilled, but so is pacquiao, pac's in and out footwork would be at its best here, Pac 115-113

Benitez is a stylistic match up which is a a tough one for pacquiao but pacquiao has/had the power to change the fight, either way a close decision but probably Benitez

Robinson is too skilled and well rounded and far too big - TKO 9

Hearns is too big and powerfull - KO 7

SRL - is too fast if he fights flat footed Pacquiao can beat him, but I doubt he would do that, most likely he would box, box his way to a decison 116-112.

I personally think it's unfair to match the like's Pacquiao and Mayweather jr to SRL, SRR and Hearns - look at the size difference, ofcourse they aren't going to win, This to me just shows how special Pacquiao and Mayweather are.

People need to appreciate how good pac and floyd are
