Is David Price the oldest Prospect of The Year ever?

    At nearly 30 years old with a minimum amount of fights is there anybody who was older than him named?

    Pulev is 31 and he is also a prospect who has like 17 fights. Most of the prospects these days are around 30. Wilder, Glazkov, Helenius etc.. I think only Tyson Fury is around 24-25.

    Yes, because many HW's rely more on power & skill, than speed, so aging is less of a factor.

    When Price turns 30 years old in July, Tyson Fury will STILL only be 24 years old.

    I agree 30 years old does seem quite old for an athlete to be deemed a prospect, especially when there are fellow countrymen like Fury who are considerably younger than Price, are ranked higher by every organisation and have had more professional fights.

    Odd choice.
